BJP firebrand leader Uma Bharti on Thursday alleged on Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party have sown seeds of caste and “damaging” the political culture of UP with the help of Congress. BJP with the help of people of UP would bring the politics back on tracks, Bharti said.
Bharti said that people of the state do not want the corrupt government of BSP nor want an alternative to it in the form of ‘goonda raj’ of SP. She also alleged that the Congress was practicising appeasement politics in favour of a particular community.
Uttar Pradesh assembly elections polling for the final and seventh phase covering 60 seats spread over 10 districts would be held tomorrow. Uttar pradesh assembly elections, in Ghaziabad district polling remained largely peaceful where rural centres registered a higher turnout than urban areas. The five constituencies of Sahibabad, Loni, Modi Nagar, Murad Nagar and Ghaziabad recorded a total polling of around 58.78% on Tuesday. Ghaziabad and Sahibabad, which comprise mostly urban population, recorded around 56% and 56.6% polling. In comparison, the three typical rural assembly constituencies of Loni, Murad Nagar and Modi Nagar recorded 58.3%, 62% and 58% polling respectively.
