Congress leader Beni Prasad Verma has written to the Election Commission saying he did not violate the poll code. Congress leader said that he was only talking about his party’s manifesto. Congress leader Digvijay Singh alleged: “The action was taken on the direction of Mayawati as they are scared of the successful campaign by Rahul Gandhi. Addressing an election meeting at Moti Jheel, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh alleged on Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Krishna Advani for raking up the black money issue. Singh said: “We want to know why did he not raise the black money issue when he was the Deputy Prime Minister?”.
