The Delhi High Court Wednesday issued notice to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi in a defamation case filed by his uncle V.M. Singh.
Gandhi was asked by Justice Aruna Sureesh to file his reply by July 30.
In a petition filed by Singh through his counsel Arjun Harkauli, he alleged that Gandhi made remarks linking him to Pakistan’s ISI and working for a separate state of Khalistan.
He also accused the politician of insulting farmers and Muslims during the election campaign.
